My son and daughter-in-law, visiting from Germany, took my wife and me to your concert with the Minnesota Orchestra last Tuesday. Your performance of the piano concerto simply took my breath away and it made me feel like I'd never really heard Beethoven before. Thank you for an incredible concert experience and a memory to cherish.

Your performance on Saturday was unforgettable. Really. You stole me away from reality and swept me into a new, strikingly beautiful world, and with mere sound, you created indescribable color and renewed my love for Beethoven while also introducing me to new, extraordinary feelings that i didn't even know existed. I cried during the Largo. I'm so glad you played for us! It was truly unforgettable. I'm only a high schooler, but I've heard many world-renowned artists, and your performance of Beethoven's 3rd was incomparable! I can't wait until you perform the rest of Beethoven's Concertos! (Hopefully next time, you'll play an encore!)

P.S. I was the girl who asked for you to sign both my CD and my program, and then stood in line again to shake your hand and take a picture with you!

Didn't notice there's a guestbook in your webpage. Your performance in Jan was one of the best recitals I've ever attended. Would love to see you performing here again.

Thank you for your exceptionally open-hearted performance at Cabrillo College 4/23. Each of your selections shone with the particular personality of the composer, energetically and sensitively brought to life in your interpretations. Your bewitching "Gaspard" fully captured for me the essential features of tone and character of the Bertrand poems, recreated by Ravel. Remarkable! Thank you.

Please come back to California soon.

Thank you so much for tonight's amazing performance. You have the most incredible talent, you played only the most technically difficult and challenging pieces. I feel honored to have had the privilege to hear you play. Please come back to our neck of the woods!!! We love you here!

Mr Sudbin-
I heard your recital at Meany theater in Seattle last night. It was one of the most beautiful recitals I've ever heard. The Haydn Sonata was new to me-what a delightful quirky piece! The Chopin and Ravel were glorious. Your sound is velvety a luscious, the climaxes thrilling.

Hi - Saw you perform last night with the Sarasota Orchestra. You were wonderful. Thanks for signing by CD at the table during intermission. I think I was the second person and the first man you signed for. Love what you do to the Beethoven piano concertos. Hope to hear more Beethoven from you. Would also love some Mozart piano concertos on disc and sonotas of both Beethoven and Mozart. More Chopin would be nice too.

Dear Yevgeny
Just been blown away by your new recordings of Beethoven 4&5: they have an unforgettable personality and this individual stamp(in your case a certain lightness of spirit and sheer joie de vivre)is the hallmark of all the really great pianists.
Thank you thank you thank you.. I am now going to re-listen to your recording of Medtner 1, which was a revelation. I am intensely looking forward to your performance of the Scriabin here in Singapore at the end of the month.
All the very best to you and your recently augmented family!

Hi there Yevgeny,

I've enjoyed every second of the performance you gave at the "concertgebouw", thanks for that part of my/our life (lives). To me, one question comes to mind: the coughs. Personally I don't like "the coughs". During "Le Gibet", I had the feeling it was some what planned to go against "the coughs" and stand above it by the volume of music.

I've read you don't like (positive) comments, but I've really enjoyed your presence and playing at the concertgebouw, especially the last in your repotoire, composed by Scriabin called "Black Mass"... Loved it.

Thank you! :-)

Dear Yevgeny,
This is just to say that in the last moth I have bought and listened to three of your solo recordings Haydn, Scarlatti, and now Scriabin. They have been an inspiration. Thank you. I particularly like the way you are able to colour phrases so delicately and beautifully.
Do you have any plans of playing in London again, I would really love to come and hear you live.
Good luck in all you undertake,
With my thanks,

We are spoiled by the musicians of a top range visiting us here at "emerald island", Puerto Rico. However, the night of May 6, 2010 from 8 till 11PM was treasured by the magical moments of incredible sensitivity given by Russian talented musician who gifted us the pearls of his imagination, performance and struggle. Indeed, being sick with tremendous head pain Yevgeny stopped our breath and hearts by his hypnotic polyphones that flows through our souls like clear holly water.

Dear Yevgeny, we are so, so fortunate to be with you and having this long-lasting impression and we do hope hearing you in near future. Of course, music of Scriabin, Chopin, Mozart, Hadyn, Rachmaninov, Prokofiev have performed by you in past and present in a way nobody could even try to repeat. Your performance will enlarge a lifespan of people by such rebellious healing through hearing of what you produce! All people at this planet should hear you. Please notify when new discs will be released to buy.

Very cordially, Serguei Skatchkov

Thank you for gorgeous and inspiring experience in San Juan!
My husband and I took four protesting teenagers to hear and see.
All left fascinated and inquiring. Their reactions were a testimony
to the importance of your exquisite performance.

My wife and I attended your concert Thursday, April 29 at the Gates Concert Hall(Newman Center) in Denver. We were so impressed by your performance! We are grateful that you were able to allow Denverites the experience of hearing your marvelous interpretations of the Chopin, Liszt, and Ravel pieces. We also found the Stevenson work fascinating. We wish you only good fortune as you continue to bring such joy to the ears of those who are fortunate enough to hear (and see) you perform!
